Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban, known for his support of cryptocurrencies, has hinted at the possibility of launching his own meme coin. Cuban, who has been vocal about his admiration for coins like Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB), suggested that a meme cryptocurrency might be his next project, especially considering the success of similar coins backed by public figures, including former U.S. President Donald Trump.

Cuban took to social media to share his thoughts on the meme coin trend, stating, “If meme coins are the way, maybe I’ll issue one.” However, he added a significant twist to the idea: unlike Trump’s coin, where the funds are used for different purposes, Cuban would direct all the revenue from his hypothetical meme coin to the U.S. Treasury. Furthermore, he would publish the wallet address for transparency, allowing everyone to track how the funds are being transferred. Cuban expressed that the goal would be to use the revenue to help reduce the U.S. national debt, asking his followers, “You in?”

The billionaire also responded to speculation about a U.S. Bitcoin Reserve, which has been a topic of discussion in the crypto community. Cuban noted that he had considered the idea, but dismissed it by saying, “It doesn’t exist and it may not.”
Despite his light-hearted approach, Cuban acknowledged the risks involved in meme coins, describing them as a “game of musical chairs” where participants could lose money. He agreed with crypto enthusiasts who pointed out that the most successful meme coins thrive because of strong community involvement over time, emphasizing the importance of community in the long-term success of these digital assets.
